This is generally how I reacted to those chapters. And then I did this about five more times during Deathly Hallows.

Edit: Thanks for all of the positive comments! I'd reply to all of them, but that would be a waste of space. I can just say it here! Thank you!

And if anyone was wondering, I also cried from Dobby, Fred, Lupin, and Snape. And also when Percy came back but those were tears of happiness. (I've never cried during a book in my life! Curse you JKR!)

Thank you! Yeah, it usually is sad when it's animals. Although, I did cry a bit more later in the book. It was a sad book.

Ok, I have to say I JUST got to that part...and I had to read it a few times to realize exactly how it happened...I mean, at first, it seemed like she spontaniously combusted or something :/

i hated when Hedwig and Dobby died, and when Fred was killed i almost threw the book across the room. =[

Wow! That's pretty accurate. Though, I did bawl my eyes out when Sirius died. He was my favorite character. I was kinda sleep deprived when I finished book 6. But HEDWIG??? *sadness*

I was exactly the same way when I read that part of the book. For some reason it was just sadder than everything else! And it was just an owl! Kill off any other character and I'd still be sadder about Hedwig. :( :'(
